The Magnetic Island Two Bays Trail Run on Saturday, 23 May 2026 is a scenic trail running event that takes participants across Magnetic Island, Queensland, from Nelly Bay to Arcadia Bay.

Convenient ferry services from Townsville offer timings that ensure runners arrive punctually at the start line near the ferry terminal at Magnetic Island State School in Nelly Bay. The courses feature challenging climbs from Nelly Bay to the hilltops above Arcadia Bay. Runners choosing the longer distances will continue through Horseshoe Bay before returning to Arcadia, all while enjoying spectacular coastal and island vistas.

Participants can select from three distances: 6km, 12km, or 21km, each showcasing Magnetic Island’s unique natural environment, including palm-fringed beaches, granite boulders, and native wildlife such as koalas.

All races conclude at the Arcadia Village Hotel, where runners can relax and celebrate their achievements in a welcoming atmosphere.
