About this event

The **Douglas Dash** is a thrilling approximately 5km urban trail run on Sunday, May 24, 2026, set amid the stunning beauty of Port Douglas as part of the Carnival weekend.

Start at the southern end of iconic Four Mile Beach, tackle 4km of beach sand, then conquer the challenging 1.5km cross-country terrain of the Flagstaff Trail, and finish at picturesque Rex Smeal Park with breathtaking views of Mossman Gorge and Thornton's Peak.

Open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities at 8:00am, this inclusive event welcomes dogs on leads for a family-friendly adventure along oceanfront paths and tropical trails.
