Race 1 of the 2XU Triathlon Series is a sanctioned triathlon event staged at Elwood Beach Reserve in Elwood, a well-known Melbourne bayside venue for swim-bike-run racing.
The event typically features multiple race options, with the main sprint distance set at 500m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. A shorter fun tri option is also offered, making the event suitable for a broad range of abilities, from first-timers through to experienced age-group athletes.
Elwood is one of Victoria’s premier triathlon locations, with a beachside setting and a fast, spectator-friendly course. The series is organised by O2 Events and is part of a six-race summer calendar.
The event is scheduled for Sunday 6 December 2026 at Elwood Park, Elwood.
