Join the **Bargara Lighthouse Running Festival**, a stunning seaside running event celebrating the iconic old and new lighthouses of Burnett Heads. This unforgettable coastal adventure offers breathtaking oceanfront views along the Bargara Esplanade, the Turtle Trail, past the Surf Lifesaving Club and Nielson Beach, and through the beautiful Mon Repos Turtle Reserve—home to famous nesting turtles.

Choose your challenge from a variety of distances suitable for all abilities:

Marathon – 42.2km (two laps of the half marathon course)
Half Marathon – 21.1km
16km Run
8km Run/Walk (out-and-back to Mon Repos)
Junior Dash – 2km or 4km for kids

All out-and-back courses start and finish at Christen Park. Longer distances continue north along the picturesque coastline, past Oaks Beach and the lighthouses, before returning. Combining scenic beauty, community spirit, and endurance, this event promises an inspiring experience for runners and walkers alike.

Organized by the Bargara Triathlon Club.
