The 5km Charity Fun Run on Friday, 12 June 2026 is a vibrant community event held as part of the IRONMAN Cairns weekend. Taking place on the Friday morning of race week at Esplanade Lagoon, Cairns, QLD, Australia, this fun run offers a perfect blend of light exercise and festive atmosphere.
Participants will enjoy a scenic 5km route along the Cairns Esplanade, soaking up the morning sunshine before returning to finish beneath the iconic IRONMAN Finishers' Arch in Lagoon Car Park.
