About this event
Eastern Cycling Club’s Wednesday Graded Scratch Races return to The Loop on Kew Boulevard for competitive midweek road racing in a range of grades. Riders race against others of a similar standard, with grades typically spanning A to F and distances varying by grade.
The event is open to AusCycling members aged 30 and over, and requires an AusCycling Race All Discipline licence. Racing is conducted as a graded scratch format, with riders starting together in their allocated grade and competing over a grade-specific distance. Typical race durations range from approximately 25 minutes plus one lap in the lower grades to around 40 minutes plus one lap in B Grade.
The advertised start time is 10:15am. Check-in opens at 1:00pm and closes 15 minutes before the advertised start; riders should allow time to complete check-in and attach their race number. The specific start time and entry information for the week should be confirmed on the event entry page.
Entries are handled online through the event registration system. Grade allocation is determined using previous results, helping to place riders with competitors of a comparable racing standard.
