About this event
The Grand Cliff Top Race is a 17.5km point-to-point trail running and walking event through the spectacular Blue Mountains landscape, travelling from Wentworth Falls to Katoomba on Sunday, 18 April 2027.
The course follows the Grand Cliff Top Walk along the escarpment above the Jamison Valley, combining cliff-top tracks, forest trails, bushland, waterfalls, historic villages and expansive World Heritage views. With approximately 700m of elevation gain, the route includes numerous stairs, exposed sections and sustained climbs, making it a rewarding challenge for runners and walkers with steady pacing and strong legs.
The race starts at Charles Darwin Walk near Wilson Park in Wentworth Falls and finishes at Skyway Park at Scenic World in Katoomba. As a point-to-point event, participants experience a continuously changing route through one of the Blue Mountains’ most scenic landscapes before completing the course at the finish precinct.
