About this event
GRAVELISTA 2026 is a challenging gravel cycling event through the rolling farmland and high-country roads around Seymour and the Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria. Taking place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, the event starts and finishes at Seymour Racecourse, about an hour north of Melbourne.
As part of the UCI Gravel World Series, GRAVELISTA offers qualifying opportunities for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Riders in the relevant UCI age categories can compete for qualification, while recreational riders can experience the same scenic course without racing for a championship place.
The main 135-kilometre qualifier follows a demanding route featuring approximately 83 per cent gravel riding, undulating country roads and the notable Wicket Hill climb. The course begins with a short neutral paved section before joining the gravel roads, with the longer route completing two 43-kilometre loops. For 2026, the 135-kilometre course has been revised to avoid a rough, flood-prone section and is approximately six kilometres longer as a result.
A 95-kilometre option follows the same course but completes one loop before returning to Seymour. A shorter 50-kilometre recreational ride is also available, providing an accessible way to enjoy the region’s gravel roads and countryside.
With a mixture of fast open farmland, rolling terrain, sustained climbs and changing gravel surfaces, GRAVELISTA is suited to experienced gravel riders, competitive cyclists and recreational participants looking for a memorable ride through central Victoria.
