Happy Coastal – Reservoir Run is a low-key community running event around Happy Valley Reservoir in South Australia on Sunday, 7 February 2027. Set among native bushland and reservoir views, the event offers a peaceful, traffic-free setting for participants of varied experience levels.
Distances include approximately 7 kilometres, 14 kilometres and a half marathon, with the 7-kilometre loop particularly suitable for walkers, casual runners and those new to organised events. The course follows sealed paths with gentle undulations and minor inclines.
Entry is via the Chandlers Hill Road car park gates, near the roundabout with Kenihans Road. Participants should allow time before the start for parking, check-in and preparation. Start times, entry fees and final course details are released by the organisers.
Proceeds support cancer research through the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, giving participants the opportunity to enjoy an active morning while contributing to a worthwhile cause.
