Knox Thunderdome 2026 is a two-day BMX racing carnival taking place on 7 and 8 November at Knoxfield, Victoria. Presented by Knox BMX Club, the event is described as the biggest event on the club’s calendar, combining high-energy racing with prize money, entertainment and plenty of track action.
The carnival features a unique six-moto racing format, with prizes available for all riders. Competitors can enter separate cruiser and retro classes, while pro riders can test themselves in time trials. Categories cater for a broad range of ages and abilities, from Mini Wheelers aged two to seven through to adult riders.
Racing classes include Challenge, Cruiser, Novice and Para BMX categories for women and men, providing opportunities for developing riders, experienced competitors and para athletes to take part. The event is designed as a family-friendly celebration of BMX racing and the local riding community.
Knox BMX Club was established in 1980 and is run by a volunteer committee. The club promotes a smoke- and alcohol-free environment, making Knox Thunderdome a welcoming setting for riders, families and spectators.
