The Kunanyi Trail Series: Potato Hopper, Snake Plains & Ferny Trees on Sunday, November 1, 2026, marks the thrilling finale of the 2026 Kunanyi Trail Series in Fern Tree, TAS, Australia.
Select your challenge: Enduro 21km, Sport 13km, or Explorer 4km.
The Potato Hopper (21km) delivers diverse terrain from smooth paths to technical rocky sections. Begin amid towering manferns beside historic water supply stonework en route to Silver Falls, ascend to The Springs, then tackle Milles Track's rocky challenges. Pass the Disappearing Tarn, navigate the dramatic Potatofields dolerite boulderfield, and descend the Wellington Falls Track to the flowing Pipeline singletrack finish.
The Snake Plains (13km) shares the Potato Hopper's initial section, reaching near the Disappearing Tarn before diverting onto the unique Snake Plains Track—less technical and shorter for an accessible adventure.
The Ferny Trees (4km) offers a beginner-friendly taste of Kunanyi's lush trails.
