Join Lofty's Revenge Ultra Marathon on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for an epic trail running experience from Adelaide to the summit of Mt Lofty, SA, Australia. Organized by Adelaide Trail Runners, this event features three distances: a 50km Ultra Marathon, a 28km race, and a 10km option, all finishing at Mt Lofty Summit.
The 50km Ultra starts at Felixstow Reserve, just a 10-minute drive northeast of the CBD. Runners begin with a smooth, almost flat section along Linear Park beside the River Torrens, lulling them into a false sense of ease before the challenge intensifies. The course then tackles the stunning new "Aqueduct Trail" in Highbury, offering breathtaking views of Black Hill. With a total elevation of 1,800m, the 50km is approximately 70% trail and 30% road. This distance can be completed solo or as a 3-person team relay (Leg 1: 16.4km, Leg 2: 19.5km, Leg 3: 14.6km).
The 28km race begins at Foxfield Oval in Athelstone, while the 10km starts and finishes at Mt Lofty Summit. All distances conclude with a grueling final kilometer on "Eurilla Track," locally renamed "Gates to Hell," featuring a 600m section with a 20% gradient. Whether you're a solo runner or part of a relay team, your finisher's medal will be a well-earned symbol of triumph.

- 10km: 12:00 pm
Bus services depart from Mt Lofty Summit to assist runners:
- 50km bus: 6:00 am
- 28km bus: 7:45 am

Cut-off times:
- 50km: 4:00 pm
- 28km: 3:00 pm
- 10km: 2:30 pm
