The Max Adventure Race Series returns to Sunshine Coast, Queensland, on Saturday, 25 July 2026, offering an exciting and accessible challenge for adventure enthusiasts of all levels.
This fast-paced event is designed for teams of two, who will alternate between three core disciplines: mountain biking, trail running, and kayaking. The continuous, non-stop race lasts between two and six hours, testing both physical endurance and mental toughness. Teams must remain together throughout the course.
Participants will use basic navigation skills to locate checkpoints, all accessible via tracks and paths, with occasional opportunities for faster cross-country routes. If you can read a street directory, you'll be well-prepared to navigate the course.
A dedicated Kids Course includes trail running and mountain biking segments with simplified navigation and no kayaking, ensuring a fun and safe experience for younger racers.
