Coastrek Sunshine Coast 2026 is Australia’s premier coastal charity walk, inviting teams to explore the stunning stretch of coastline between Noosa and Mooloolaba while hiking for mental health in support of Beyond Blue.
Choose your challenge: a 50km hike starting in Noosa, a 30km route from Coolum, or a 20km trail from Marcoola, all finishing in Mooloolaba. These distances offer world-class beaches, scenic headlands, and picturesque coastal trails, with the longer you hike, the more you’ll see.
Participants must join in teams of two or more, as this is a team-based adventure focused on fun, fitness, friends, fresh air, and fundraising—not a relay event. The event welcomes both men and women, and every team member is committed to raising vital funds for Beyond Blue.
With checkpoints for water, snacks, and toilets approximately every 15km, and start times from 6:00 am (50km), 7:00 am (30km), and 11:30 am (20km), Coastrek offers an epic outdoor journey through breathtaking beauty and purpose.
Since its inception in 2009, over 90,000 trekkers have completed Coastrek challenges, improving their health and wellbeing while raising more than $57 million for charity—join the adventure and make your mark on this iconic coastal hike.
