About this event

The Moreton Bay Triathlon takes place on Sunday, 10 May 2026 at Pelican Park, Clontarf, QLD, offering four race distances to suit all ages and abilities: Classic, Club, Enticer, and a Kids distance.

This event is part of Round 7 of the Pho3nix Queensland Tri Series and is included in the Moreton Bay Multisport Festival.

Participants will enjoy a scenic swim in the sheltered Moreton Bay, followed by a fast cycling course across the Ted Smout Bridge, and a flat foreshore run—an ideal setting to achieve a personal best or prepare for longer triathlons.

Options include individual races, relay teams, and the mixed-age, mixed-gender Mates Wave for a social and competitive experience.

The Moreton Bay Running Festival complements the weekend festivities, held the day before the triathlon, featuring runs suitable for all fitness levels in the cooler twilight conditions.

Distances:
Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run):
Kids 7-12 years: 100m + 2K + 500m
Enticer: 300m + 10K + 2.5K
Club: 1000m + 30K + 7.5K (14 years +)
Classic: 2000m + 60K + 15K (18 years +)
