About this event

Take on the new year with the PacBev Bridport Sprint Triathlon at Bridport Foreshore in Tasmania on Saturday, 2 January 2027. Organised by Launceston Triathlon Club, this ocean-swim event forms part of the Tasmanian State Series and includes a National Qualifier and State Championship sprint triathlon.

The sprint course features a 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre cycle and 5-kilometre run, offering a competitive challenge for experienced triathletes and eligible championship contenders.

Shorter options make the event accessible to a wider range of participants. The Enticer course includes a 450-metre swim, 10-kilometre cycle and 2.5-kilometre run, while the Kids aquathlon combines a 100-metre swim with a 1-kilometre run.

With multiple distances, a scenic foreshore setting and championship-level racing, the event welcomes juniors, newcomers and experienced athletes alike. Entries are scheduled to open soon.
