About this event
Parlouf Relay is a festive team running event presented by the West Australian Marathon Club in Floreat. Teams of two take turns running a 1km circuit, aiming to complete as many laps as possible within 30 minutes.
Runners may nominate a teammate when they arrive, or organisers can pair participants who need a team. The event is open to members and non-members, making it suitable for runners of varying experience and ability.
Inspired by the traditional Parlauf relay held on Wimbledon Common in London, the WAMC event has been conducted annually since 1980. It combines a friendly holiday atmosphere with a short, energetic challenge for teams chasing extra laps.

Location: Floreat, Western Australia
Format: Two-person relay over 30 minutes
- Run repeated laps of a 1km circuit.
- Complete as many laps as possible before time expires.
- Bring a teammate or be paired by the organisers on arrival.
- Open to both WAMC members and non-members.
