About this event
Pemby Trail Fest is a three-day trail-running festival in the karri forests surrounding Pemberton, Western Australia. The 2026 festival is listed for 16–18 October, offering a weekend of wilderness running, community events and spectacular Southern Forests scenery.
The programme includes a 7 km Friday-night run, Saturday races ranging from shorter distances through to a half marathon, and a 50 km ultra marathon. A kids’ fun run is also included, providing an accessible introduction to trail running for younger participants.
Courses take in the region’s towering karri forests and scenic single-track trails, with distances suited to a range of abilities, from first-time trail runners to experienced ultra-distance competitors. Participants can access event resources including course maps and GPX files, with finisher rewards provided for eligible races.
Event villages are planned at Pemberton District High School on Friday and Saturday, and at Pemberton Swimming Pool on Sunday. These areas provide viewing opportunities for spectators and a central place to enjoy the festival atmosphere, with food, music and local community activities.
Whether competing, supporting a runner or simply enjoying the surrounding forest landscapes, Pemby Trail Fest offers an active weekend in the heart of Pemberton’s karri country.
