About this event
Thursday-night motor pace training with Port Adelaide Cycling Club, using motorcycles to provide structured pacing for both road and track cyclists at Hanson Reserve Velodrome.
The session is designed for riders of varying abilities, from beginners to experienced racers, with a relaxed and supportive training environment. Road bikes and track bikes are permitted, but they use separate pacing groups while on the track.
Training begins with a controlled warm-up and gradually builds in speed and intensity. Riders take turns behind the motorcycles, with regular efforts incorporated throughout the session before a progressive finish and warm-down. Lights are scheduled to be out on the track by approximately 8:30pm.
