Portland 3 Bays Running Festival
Event location
Description
Organiser: Portland Runners Club
The Portland 3 Bays Running Festival, held on 1 and 2 November 2025 in Portland, VIC, Australia, offers a range of running events including a 60km trail ultramarathon, a marathon, a half marathon, and a quarter marathon.
The 60km ultramarathon is a stunning coastal trail run along the Great South West Walk, featuring predominantly single-track paths and some beach sections, providing a challenging and scenic experience.
The marathon is the festival’s oldest and most prestigious race, recognized as one of Victoria’s longest-standing road marathons. The half marathon covers the latter half of the marathon course, while the quarter marathon, introduced in 2017, offers a shorter distance option.
For the truly adventurous, participants can take on the 60km ultramarathon on Saturday and, for an additional fee, run the marathon the following day, totaling 102km and earning the unique title of “The Hybrid Fool.”
