About this event
Refuge cove is one of the gems of the Prom: a quiet cove tucked away beneath Kersops Peak. This hike is for fitter individuals who are happy to walk up to 20km with a rucksack. The 19km on day one to get you there will certainly test those legs, but you’ll be rewarded by excellent views along the way, and a peaceful hidden cove at the end of the day. We generally arrive at camp later in the afternoon, however there is always enough time to explore and have a quick dip for brave souls.
This harder grade walk will give you the opportunity to learn more, explore further and push that boundary, while being supported along the way by our awesome guides. Combine that with high quality delicious food, and this will be your best overnight hike of the season.
