Run21 Sydney – Race 1 is a boutique running event at Newington Armory in Sydney Olympic Park, held beside the Parramatta River on Sunday, 15 November 2026. The event offers half marathon, 10km and 5km distances, making it suitable for runners and walkers pursuing a personal best, a fresh challenge or an enjoyable riverside run.
The course is designed to be flat and fast, winding through the parkland and waterfront surroundings of Newington Armory. The four-lap half marathon course has approximately 50 metres of elevation gain per 5km lap, creating a steady route for runners aiming to maintain a consistent pace.
Participants can choose their own starting wave, with the first wave departing at sunrise and further waves scheduled every 15 minutes. Timing splits are available every 2.5km to help runners monitor their progress, while aid stations are positioned at regular intervals around the course.
Race 1 is the first of two Run21 Sydney race days on the same riverside course, with limited places available for each event. Runners can enter a single race or take on both days in the series.
