About this event
Race 7 of 8 in the Sutherland Shire Cycling Club’s White Horse Criterium Series, held as part of the summer 2026 racing program at Waratah Park in Sutherland.
The event takes place on Waratah Park’s dedicated off-road criterium circuit, a purpose-built cycling venue featuring three looped circuits, including a longest circuit of approximately 1.2 kilometres. The closed-course setting provides a compact, spectator-friendly environment for fast-paced club racing.
Racing is scheduled for Friday, 4 December 2026. As the penultimate round of the eight-race series, the event contributes to the overall summer competition and offers riders another opportunity to contest short, repeated laps around the circuit.
Waratah Park’s cycling facilities are also used for training, fitness riding and community cycling when racing is not taking place. Spectators can watch the action from around the circuit, subject to event-day access arrangements.
