The 5K Foam Fest - Perth is a lively obstacle fun run designed for people who want a playful challenge rather than a serious race. The course features 25 obstacles, including foam zones, mud pits, slip-and-slide style features and a large inflatable waterslide, with plenty of music and festival atmosphere throughout the day.
This event is suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, with participants encouraged to go at their own pace and complete the course however they choose. It is positioned as an all-day experience rather than just a run, with a festival area, food, local vendors and a beer garden adding to the social side of the event.
Families are also catered for, with a free kids zone for children aged 6 and under. Spectators can access the festival area, vendors and beer garden without charge, making it a good outing even for those not taking part in the course.
The Perth edition is scheduled for 9 January 2027 at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon. Tickets include entry to the run and a range of event items such as a finisher’s medal, a string bag, a buff, water stations, shower and change facilities, and access to the festival area.
