About this event

The Bike Place Shoalwater Classic Triathlon is Rockingham Triathlon Club’s annual event, held at Shoalwater Bay on Sunday, 31 January 2027. The event offers Standard, Sprint and Aquabike categories, providing options for experienced competitors and athletes seeking a shorter challenge.

Standard triathlon: 1 km ocean swim, 32 km cycle and 10 km run
Sprint triathlon: 500 m ocean swim, 16 km cycle and 5 km run, available to participants aged 14 and over
Aquabike: a swim-and-cycle category for competitors who prefer not to complete the run leg

The swim takes place in the waters of Shoalwater Bay, followed by a multi-lap cycle course along the Shoalwater foreshore and nearby bushland around Point Peron. Competitors then complete a multi-lap run along the foreshore.

Swim caps are provided. Participants should bring their own race belt. The event venue is at Shoalwater Bay, near Arcadia Drive, Shoalwater.
