The Last Legend is a unique running challenge held in Greenvale, Victoria, on Sunday, 13 December 2026. Set on a 2.5-kilometre loop at the Living Legends racehorse sanctuary, the event uses a diminishing-time format: runners complete each lap within an allowance that becomes shorter as the challenge progresses.
The format tests speed, endurance and consistency, with the challenge continuing until only one runner remains. Participants can choose from five race options: the Last Legend All the Way, 5km, 10km, 25km or 42km. The longer distances use repeated laps of the 2.5-kilometre course, while the marathon option covers 42.2 kilometres.
Runners are encouraged to embrace the festive season by wearing red and white. Whether taking on the full elimination challenge or choosing a set distance, participants can expect a distinctive endurance event in the grounds of a renowned racehorse sanctuary, with proceeds supporting Canteen Australia.
