About this event

Tweed Valley Triathletes’ club event returns to Murwillumbah on Saturday, 24 October 2026, with pool swimming at the Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre followed by cycling and running on local Tweed Shire roads.

The event offers short-course racing for different age groups and abilities:

Intermediate short: a 250-metre pool swim, 7-kilometre cycle and 2-kilometre run.
Senior short: a 500-metre pool swim, 14-kilometre cycle and 4-kilometre run.
Tri Mites: a kids’ course comprising a 150-metre swim, 3-kilometre cycle and 1-kilometre run.

As a club event, the session provides a structured introduction to triathlon while giving developing and experienced participants the opportunity to practise transitions, pacing and race-day skills across a manageable Enticer distance. The swim takes place in the pool, with the cycling and running legs conducted on surrounding local roads.
