United Energy Around the Bay is one of the biggest events on Bicycle Network’s calendar. It is a non-competitive, fully supported ride with Melbourne’s iconic Port Phillip Bay at its centre.
With six ride options on offer, this is a day out on the bike everyone can enjoy. Whether you choose the Family Ride on fully closed roads or the classic 220km loop of Port Phillip Bay, you'll soak up some of Melbourne's best sights by bike.
Don’t forget, kids 14 and under ride free on the family ride and 50km.
Your ride ticket includes a complimentary event jersey (for paid entries before 2 June), finishers’ medal, on-route support, road closures and traffic management, and rest stops, nutrition and hydration.

The 50km ride is the perfect opportunity to ride over the iconic West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back.

Ride over the West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back before rolling along Melbourne's legendary Beach Road.
Around the Bay 135km
The 135km starts in Geelong before hopping on the ferry to Sorrento and riding to the Albert Park finish via Melbourne's iconic Beach Road.
Around the Bay - The Classic
Trace the outline of Melbourne’s Port Philip Bay, hop on the ferry to Sorrento and return to Albert Park via Melbourne's famous Beach Road on the classic 220km circuit.
Around the Bay 300km
Think you've done it all? The 300km loop will test the most seasoned riders while giving the full experience of Port Phillip Bay.
