Owen's annual Walk4BrainCancer returns on Sunday 11 October 2026, gathering the local community at Owen Bowling Club to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research.
A Community Walking Together
The Owen walk has grown from a local family's experience of brain cancer and their determination to support research and other affected families. It offers a meaningful morning for participants to remember loved ones, stand with people living with the disease and contribute to the search for better treatments.
Event Morning
Registration opens at 8:30am at Owen Bowling Club. Participants are encouraged to register in advance using the official event link and join friends, family and neighbours for the community walk.
Entry
Adult entry is $35 for ages 16 and over. Child entry is $20 for ages five to 15, while children under five can join free.
