About this event
Warwick Pentathrun is a two-day running event in Warwick, Queensland, held at the end of May each year. It brings together five different races across the weekend, with all results combining to make up a marathon-distance challenge.
The event begins on Saturday morning with a half marathon road race, followed by breakfast and transport back to the start. Later that day, runners tackle a short cross-country race and then a fast 5 kilometre road race before presentations.
Sunday opens with a 10 kilometre hill run at Queen Mary Falls in Killarney, featuring a descent and return climb. The weekend finishes with a 1600 metre sprint at the Warwick racecourse.
Runners can enter one race, several races, or take on the full Pentathrun across all five events. The course mix is a key part of the appeal, combining road, cross-country, hill and track-style racing in a single weekend.
Event details are subject to change and should be checked closer to race day.
