Morning badminton sessions in Marsfield / Macquarie Park
Activity Details
This is for anyone looking to get active and play badminton in a friendly & non-competitive environment.
All sessions are hosted on the badminton courts at MUSAC - Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre.
• All levels of badminton skill are welcome, including first time players.
• You do not have to be a MUSAC member to attend these sessions, though court hire & court guest access is a MUSAC membership inclusion.
• Racquets & shuttles can be hired from reception, or if the organiser is asked in advance they can provide at no cost, or you may bring your own.
Please note:
1) Only morning sessions are available - typically 7:30am - 8:30am (or earlier by prior arrangement)
2) The casual court entry cost for your first badminton session (for one person) will be covered by the organiser, so you can give it a try and see if it's a good fit for you. Please note that this pricing differs for group attendance (enquire with the organiser for more details).
3) Badminton is great exercise and provides a full body workout, however if injuries while playing are a concern for you, please speak to your GP/Physio/Health Insurance provider first.
