About this event

The 2027 AusCycling MTB National Championships will bring Australia’s leading mountain bike riders to Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park in Tasmania from 17–21 March 2027.

Over five days of championship racing, competitors will contest national titles and the green and gold jersey across downhill, cross-country Olympic and short track disciplines. Racing will test riders’ speed, endurance, technical skill and control on Tasmania’s challenging mountain bike trails.

The championships will feature competition for junior, under-23, elite, masters and adaptive riders, with categories spanning under-13 through to masters age groups. Elite, masters, junior and para riders are expected to compete under AusCycling and UCI regulations.

Entries are scheduled to open on 9 December 2026. Riders will require a valid AusCycling Race membership or a current UCI licence issued by their national federation.
