TasCarnivals — Hobart 2026 is a summer cycling and athletics carnival taking place in Hobart on Sunday, 27 December 2026.
The event features world-class track cycling on one of Tasmania’s most challenging bike tracks, attracting leading domestic and international riders, including national champions and Olympians. Competitive racing and substantial prize money create a fast-paced showcase where experienced professionals and local competitors go head to head.
The programme also includes a downhill 100-metre running track, designed with additional run-off for high-speed finishes. The Hobart carnival offers spectators the flexibility to arrive for selected events, with major races highlighted in the final programme.
