ARAP 2026 Family Fun Day invites families to Clifford Park Activity Centre for an afternoon of outdoor adventure and a chance to discover what Scouting has to offer. The event is open to the wider community, so families do not need to already be involved in Scouts to come along.
An Afternoon at Clifford Park
Clifford Park is a bush activity centre in Wonga Park, set in a bend of the Yarra River near Warrandyte State Park. For this annual report and presentation event, the site becomes a family-friendly open afternoon with adventurous activities and a relaxed community atmosphere.
Adventure Activities
The advertised activities include abseiling, bouldering, archery and more. Clifford Park also offers a broad range of outdoor activity facilities, making this a practical way for children and families to get a feel for the kinds of experiences Scouting can offer.
Getting There
The event runs on Saturday 17 October 2026 from 1pm to 4pm. A free shuttle bus is advertised from Croydon Railway Station between 12pm and 5pm, and visitors are encouraged to use it because on-site parking is limited.
