About this event

The 2027 AusCycling MTB National Series begins at Lysterfield MTB Park with a double-header weekend of national-level cross-country mountain bike racing from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 February 2027.

The opening rounds feature both cross-country Olympic (XCO) and short-track racing, bringing elite, masters and junior riders together to compete for early points in the six-round national series. Riders will tackle Lysterfield’s combination of sustained climbs, fast sections and technical trails in the first test of their series campaigns.

Hosted by Lysterfield District Trail Riders MTB Club, the event offers spectators the chance to watch leading riders from across Australia compete across two rounds in one weekend. AusCycling race membership is required for entry, with registration scheduled to open in November 2026.
