Experience the Australian Outback Marathon on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Yulara, NT, Australia, a once-in-a-lifetime running event set against the iconic backdrop of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
The race offers four distinct distances for runners of all levels: a 42km Full Marathon, a 21km Half Marathon, an 11km Fun Run, and a 6km Fun Run. Most of the course winds through unsealed roads, bush tracks, and soft-sand trails, featuring Australia’s famed “red earth” underfoot with spectacular views as the kilometres tick by.
Whether you are a professional marathoner, club runner, or a beginner, this event is designed to challenge and inspire you to work through “the burn” and break personal records. Please note that race entry is exclusively available as part of a travel package, which includes accommodation; there is no “entry only” option unless you are a local Yulara resident.
