Try beach volleyball at Manly Beach with a four-week Level 1 Learn & Play course for adults who are complete beginners. The course introduces the sport in a relaxed, social setting with coached sessions and plenty of chances to start playing.
Saturday Morning Course
This Level 1 course runs on Saturdays at 9:15am from 24 October to 14 November 2026 at Manly Beach. Each session is 90 minutes and is designed to teach the basics over four consecutive weeks.
Skills and Game Play
- Serving, passing, setting and spiking basics
- The basic rules of beach volleyball
- Fun drills that help new players learn by doing
- Game play situations with other participants
Beginner-Friendly Beach Activity
The course is most suitable for adults with almost no previous beach volleyball knowledge. The organiser's approach is built around getting fit, having fun and meeting friends while learning at Manly Beach.
Booking and Cost
The four-week Learn & Play course costs $165. After enrolling, participants can view upcoming sessions and manage bookings through their account or the Beachvolleyball.com.au app, including rescheduling and make-up sessions where available.
