About this event
Beerwah at Daybreak is a sunrise trail running event held at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains area of Queensland. It features three distances — 10km, half marathon and marathon — and is designed as an early-morning run through a scenic national park setting.
The event is scheduled for Sunday 6 December 2026, with race sign-on opening before dawn and each distance starting at a different time. The marathon begins first, followed by the half marathon and then the 10km, making it a full morning of trail running for a range of fitness levels and experience.
Entry is required in advance, with no entries available on the day. Minimum age limits apply for each distance, and bib collection takes place near the start area before each race. Participants can expect a well-organised event with cut-off times and a strong focus on safety and timing.
Set in one of Queensland’s most distinctive mountain landscapes, Beerwah at Daybreak offers runners the chance to experience the Glass House Mountains at first light, with a course that combines endurance, atmosphere and natural scenery.
