About this event
Belair Marathon is South Australia’s premier trail running event, held in the scenic Belair National Park. Set for Sunday 28 February 2027, it brings runners onto rugged trails, native bushland and challenging climbs just outside Adelaide.
The event offers a range of distances, including a 5km, 10km, half marathon, marathon and 50km ultra marathon, making it suitable for a wide mix of runners and experience levels. The marathon and ultra courses are known for their demanding elevation and trail terrain, with the marathon featuring close to 1,500 metres of elevation gain and the 50km ultra nearly 1,800 metres.
Designed as a true trail challenge rather than a fast road race, Belair Marathon combines endurance running with a dramatic natural setting. With multiple race options and a reputation for tough but rewarding courses, it attracts participants looking for a memorable outdoor running experience in Adelaide’s hills.
