About this event

The Bendigo Christmas Carnival returns to the Bendigo Velodrome on Monday 28 December 2026 as part of Victoria’s festive-season track cycling programme. It is a longstanding fixture of the Victorian track calendar, with the 2026 edition including the Victorian Under 17 Points Race Championship.

The carnival combines championship racing with a lively programme of high-level track cycling, bringing riders and spectators together during the summer holiday period. The Under 17 points race provides a key opportunity for emerging cyclists to compete for a Victorian title in a fast-paced endurance event requiring both tactical awareness and sprinting ability.

Held at Bendigo’s dedicated velodrome, the event forms part of the Christmas carnival tradition that follows the Victorian state and national championship season. It offers an opportunity to watch developing talent alongside experienced track cyclists in a welcoming regional setting.
