About this event
Best of the West 2026 — Round 5 brings BMX racing to Sunbury on Saturday, 24 October 2026, as part of Western Region BMX’s six-round series across three October weekends in Victoria’s west.
The series is designed to give riders valuable race preparation ahead of the Victorian State Championships, with competitors able to enter the Sunbury round individually or take a series entry covering all six rounds. Series entry automatically includes each round and is required for eligibility for the Best of the West participation award.
Riders entering individual rounds may still be eligible for series awards under the published conditions, including participation in the final round. Round 5 follows the opening rounds at Bacchus Marsh and continues the series build-up before the final round in Bendigo.
Whether competing for series points or using the event as a focused hit-out before the state championships, the Sunbury round offers a competitive day of BMX racing for riders taking part in the 2026 Best of the West series.
