About this event
BikeSA Annual Tour 2027 is a nine-day cycling adventure through some of South Australia’s most spectacular landscapes, from the Murray River and Lower Lakes to the Coorong and Fleurieu Peninsula.
Taking place from 16 to 24 October 2027, the tour covers approximately 600 kilometres and is graded moderate for intermediate riders. The route combines scenic riding with opportunities to experience regional communities, wetlands, waterways, vineyards and coastal landscapes.
Highlights include a cruise through the Coorong waterways, a visit to the Ngarrindjeri community of Raukkan and an opportunity to discover the flavours of Langhorne Creek wine country. The itinerary also includes three nights in Goolwa, allowing time to relax, explore and enjoy the town and its surroundings.
A dedicated rest day provides a break from the bike, while further riding through the Fleurieu Peninsula showcases the region’s varied scenery. The tour concludes with a memorable night in the bushland setting of Monarto Safari Park, followed by riding through Mannum and back to Murray Bridge for the final riverside finish.
BikeSA manages the tour logistics and provides support throughout the journey, so riders can focus on enjoying the route, exploring South Australia and sharing the experience with a welcoming cycling community.
