About this event
The Bobbin Head Cycle Classic, affectionately known as “the Bobbo”, is a scenic community cycling event starting and finishing in Turramurra on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
Riders travel through Bobbin Head and the striking bushland of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The longest route extends to West Head, where participants can enjoy spectacular coastal scenery before returning to the finish area.
Four ride distances cater for a range of abilities: approximately 27 km, 57–58 km, 80 km and 104 km. The event is not a race, making it suitable for recreational riders and cycling enthusiasts seeking a challenging and picturesque day on the bike.
The circular routes start and finish at Karuah Oval in Turramurra, allowing riders to complete the event without arranging return transport. The event is organised by Rotary clubs from across Sydney’s Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches.
Bicycle NSW members may be eligible for a 15 per cent discount on entry.
