About the Event
The Transurban Bridge to Brisbane is Queensland's largest fun run, bringing thousands of runners, walkers and wheelers together to take over the Gateway Bridge and the streets of Brisbane on Sunday 13 September 2026. Whether you're chasing a personal best, running with friends and family, or supporting a cause close to your heart, the event brings the community together for Brisbane's most iconic fun run.
What to Expect
Choose from two courses. The Blue Run is a 5km walk, wheel or jog suitable for all abilities, starting from 10:00am with the finish line closing at 12:00pm. The La Roche-Posay 10km is the ultimate challenge, kicking off at the southern end of the Gateway Bridge in Murarrie from 6am, taking runners over the iconic Gateway Bridge with no traffic and descending to the Brisbane Showgrounds, where the finish line and Race Village await, full of fun and entertainment. There is no minimum age to participate, though entrants aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian for the entire race.
How to Participate
- Choose your distance: the 5km Blue Run (walk/wheel/jog) or the 10km La Roche-Posay run
- Register online before entries close on Saturday 12 September 2026 at 2pm AEST, or until sold out
- Optionally choose a charity to run for — in 2025, participants raised $1.1 million for hundreds of local charities
- Arrive on Sunday 13 September 2026 for your designated start time
Cost
Entry is paid and tiered by distance and purchase window. For the 5km Blue Run: $59 Flash Sale, $71 Early Bird, $75 General. For the 10km run: $69 Flash Sale (exhausted), $81 Early Bird (exhausted), $85 General. General pricing applies from 1 July 2026 until 12 September 2026 at 2pm AEST or until sold out.
