About this event

The BTS Off-Road Duathlon returns to Chiltern Forest on Sunday, 25 October 2026, as Race 2 of the Border Triathlon Squad Duathlon Series. Set among easy-to-follow forest trails, the event combines two run legs with an off-road bike leg suitable for gravel bikes and mountain bikes.

Participants can choose from age-based and course options, with distances ranging from a 400m run and 1km bike leg for younger children through to an 8km run and 18km bike course for the long-course option. Distances and categories vary by age group.

The event welcomes junior participants and includes kids’ and relay options, making it suitable for a range of abilities. Competitors should be prepared for unsealed trails and bring an appropriate off-road bike, helmet and event-ready equipment.

The event base is at Chiltern Forest’s Magenta Gold Mine area. Further information, including final course maps, start times, entry details and confirmed distances, will be released by the organiser.
