About this event

Round 3 of the Albury-Wodonga 5km Handicap Series brings runners together for a Thursday evening race at Pat Parker Athletics Park in Wodonga on 12 November 2026.

The five-race series uses a staggered handicap format, with each runner’s start time determined from a recent, credible 5km result, such as a parkrun time. This gives runners of all abilities the opportunity to compete for line honours, regardless of their raw finishing time.

Race marshalling takes place before the listed start time, with Round 3 scheduled to begin at 6.30pm. The course will be held on the Wodonga Athletic Club’s grass track at Pat Parker Athletics Park.

Prizes are awarded in each race for the first finisher, the fastest female, the fastest male and nearest the pin. The overall series winner is decided by the combined finishing positions across all five races.

Registrations are open, with the series continuing at venues across the Wodonga and Lake Hume area. Round 3 is the middle race of the series, following events at The Crossing and Ebden Reserve and preceding races at Huon Reserve and Sumsion Gardens.
