About this event

The C2K Bike Ride is a seven-day supported cycling adventure from Cairns to Karumba, covering about 780km through Far North Queensland’s coast, tablelands and Gulf Savannah. It is designed for a wide range of riders, including road cyclists, e-bike riders and social riders, with options to ride the full route or selected sections.

This long-running charity ride combines endurance cycling with a strong community focus and a distinctly regional Queensland experience. Along the way, riders pass through outback towns and work with local communities who help create the event atmosphere through meals, bars and other activities, making it as much a touring experience as a sporting challenge.

Participants can expect a fully supported journey that brings together cycling, camping and social connection, with daily riding distances typically ranging from 78km to 150km. The event is popular with adults seeking an active holiday, groups of friends, families and more experienced cyclists looking for a demanding multi-day ride.

More than just a bike ride, C2K profiles the landscapes and communities of regional Queensland while supporting local involvement and regional tourism. It offers a memorable coast-to-outback adventure through some of northern Australia’s most varied scenery.
