About this event
Join the Canberra Runners Half Marathon, a celebrated tradition spanning over 50 years. This iconic event features three racing options for all ages and abilities.
The 21.1km Half Marathon course starts and finishes at Lennox Gardens, following a scenic out-and-back route along the cycle path around the West Basin of Lake Burley Griffin to Scrivener Dam. This undulating course showcases stunning views of Australia's national landmarks, including Government House and Parliament House. Participants must be 16 years or older.
The 10km race offers an alternative distance, allowing runners to experience the same picturesque Canberra landscape.
A 1.6km children's run for participants aged 14 years and under provides a family-friendly way to participate in this beloved community event.
Both adult races are fully timed with prizes awarded to top finishers. Volunteers support competitors throughout the course, with refreshments and presentations held in the race village at Lennox Gardens following the events. Registration is required in advance.
