Join us on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at Banjo Paterson Park in Lynbrook, Melbourne for the Pasifika Festival Charity Walk. Participants can select from a scenic 1km walk or a more challenging 5km circuit along the Maribyrnong River.
As part of the Melbourne Pasifika Festival, this event celebrates Polynesian culture through vibrant traditional food stalls, arts and crafts, children’s activities, cultural dance performances, live music, and more.
Organised by the Women’s Federation for World Peace Australia (WFWP), the festival and walk aim to empower women by providing knowledge, tools, and support to foster lasting peace within families, communities, and nations.
All proceeds from the walk directly fund WFWP’s Global Development and Aid projects across the Pacific Islands, supporting education, employment, and skills development for local women to improve their communities.
