Get ready for the **Coral Coast Triathlon**, Australia’s longest-running standard (Olympic) distance triathlon, now in its **43rd year**! This annual event takes place on **Sunday, August 16, 2026**, at the beautiful **Yorkeys Knob** in **QLD, Australia**, just 16km north of Cairns along the Captain Cook Highway.
Participants can choose from a range of exciting distances, including **Standard**, **Sprint**, and **Enticer** triathlons, with both **individual** and **relay** options. The event also features **Aquathlon** (Swim/Run) and **Aquabike** (Swim/Ride) categories for even more variety.
Race details include:
- Standard Triathlon: 1500m Swim, 10km Run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m Swim, 5km Run
- Enticer Triathlon: 350m Swim, 2.5km Run
- Aquathlon & Aquabike: Available in both Standard and Sprint formats
The race is proudly organised by the **Cairns Crocs Triathlon Club**, and the venue and transition area will be located at the southern end of **Sims Esplanade**. Parking is available at the northern end of Sims Esplanade, just a 650m walk to registration.

Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run):
Enticer: 375m + 10K + 2.5K
Sprint: 750m + 20K + 5K - solo/team
Standard: 1500m + 40K + 10K - solo/team
Aquathlon (Swim + Run):
Sprint: 750m + 5K
Standard: 1500m + 10K
+ Aquabike
